Job summary

AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, Florida is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for night coverage across the inpatient and home health spectrum. The role includes crisis response, patient assessment, and collaboration with triage and care management to ensure high-quality Hospice/Oncology support.

Responsibilities include documentation, team communication, and potential travel for patient evaluation, with shifts featuring every-other-weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and type legibly in English.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR).
• Nursing skills aligned with legal/ethical parameters and credentialed scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Communicate patient and staff information to care teams.
• Consult with Triage Nurse or Nursing Manager for risk issues.
• Complete all documentation promptly and accurately.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions.
• Respond to emails and calls during duty hours.
• Provide nursing care in inpatient unit as needed.
• Respond to emergencies outside regular hours.
• Travel to patient residences for assessment as directed.
