Job summary

Avow Hospice in Naples, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for a night shift (8:00 pm–8:30 am) on a 3-12 hour schedule with every other weekend. The RN will assess and manage pain and complex symptoms, coordinate with the hospice interdisciplinary team, and educate patients and families in end-of-life care.

Qualifications include an active Florida RN license, CPR, and preferably BSN and CHPN; hospice experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license and CPR certification.
• Hospice experience preferred.
• Must be able to document in EMR and work across departments.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train to other departments to meet organizational needs.
• Provide nursing care and procedures per policies and protocols.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning.
• Assess patients, report changes to physicians and team members, adjust care plans as needed.
• Coordinate care with patients, families, and community resources.
