FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking a HIM Coordinator for the third shift to coordinate and maintain critical daily workflows in the HIM department. You will investigate and resolve high-priority issues, support staff, and assist with production tasks to ensure timely and accurate chart processing, indexing, uploading, and workflow queue management.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in Health Information Management or equivalent EMR/IT training, at least two years of health

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in Health Information Management or equivalent EMR/IT training and/or experience preferred.
• A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a health information management or information systems setting with solid working knowledge of key health information functions and workflows.
• Preference to RHIA or RHIT credentials.

• Coordinate and maintain critical daily HIM workflows for third shift.
• Investigate and resolve high-priority HIM issues during the shift.
• Assist with production work and backlogs to ensure timely completion of priorities.
• Support staff and maintain continuity of operations and service excellence during off-shift coverage.
