Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Health Information Management professional to coordinate daily HIM activities, supervise the onsite team, and back up the HIM Manager at assigned facilities. You will ensure timely chart processing, imaging, release of information, and birth certificate handling where applicable.

Responsibilities include maintaining EMR and document management system proficiency, conducting audits, and supporting training.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology or related field required.
• RHIT or RHIA certification preferred.
• At least three years of HIM experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience with electronic health records and document management systems, with Epic preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily HIM activities and supervise onsite staff.
• Serve as backup to the HIM Manager and primary site contact.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements and quality standards.
• Provide training and onboarding support for new HIM colleagues.
