Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinates tests and treatments with and between various departments for patients on nursing units.
• Facilities communications to support patient care and manages multi-line telephone systems.
• Maintains EMR and hospital information systems for ordering and daily charges.
• Compiles chart forms for admissions, transfers, discharges and expirations; manages records for transfers.
• Verifies patient demographic and registration information for accuracy and appropriate level of care.
• Maintains positive customer relations and adapts to interruptions and changing priorities.
