Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking an overnight Housekeeping Associate to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel while delivering exceptional guest service. You will act as an advocate for the hotel and build relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits.

Responsibilities include cleaning lobby and public areas, setting up meeting rooms, performing deep cleans, supporting lobby functions, and delivering items to guest rooms upon request.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the lobby, hallways, public areas, including the sidewalk, brass awning poles, signage, entrance, and alley.
• Clean and set-up meeting room functions according to the function sheets.
• Deep cleaning of areas including the shampooing of rooms and public spaces as assigned.
• Set up and maintain complimentary hotel lobby functions including the morning coffee service and nightly concierge events.
• Deliver housekeeping items to guest rooms upon request from the front desk.
• Get assignments, keys, pager, and special guest requests from your supervisor at the beginning of your shift.
• Check and replenish your supplies and cleaning tools.
• Quickly respond to guest requests in a friendly manner.
• Return lost items with proper documentation to the Housekeeping Department.
