Job summary

Price Rite of CRANSTON is seeking a Closing Supervisor to manage store operations on shift, ensuring top-tier service and accurate cash handling. You will maintain presentation, inventory, and compliance with policies while supporting a safe, welcoming shopping environment.

Responsibilities include supervising up to 20 team members, ensuring sanitation standards, and coordinating sign audits and deposits. Ideal candidates have management experience and a Food Safety Certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of related management experience.
• Associate degree preferred or equivalent education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before customers or team members.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages.
• Ability to apply common sense in following instructions.
• Holds an active Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations and staff on shift, delivering high quality customer service.
• Ensure store presentation is clean, stocked, and professional at all times.
• Open/close the store, handle cash and deposits, and manage office paperwork.
• Perform CGO functions including receiving, inventory, damages, signs and tags.
• Maintain back-room organization and signage accuracy; ensure safety and sanitation standards.
• Rotate and stock items, monitor shrink, and communicate with the Store Manager.
