Job summary

Price Rite of West Hartford is hiring a Closing Supervisor to oversee store operations and personnel on shift, ensuring excellent customer service and proper store presentation.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and familiarity with cash handling and inventory processes. This is a full-time, on-site position based in West Hartford, CT, with opportunities to grow within the Price Rite team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related management experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before customers or team members.
• Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions.
• Active Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee up to 20 team members on shift.
• Maintain store conditions per standards, including sanitation and safety.
• Open/close cash office and deposits.
• Perform CGO functions of receiving, inventory, damages, and signage.
• Ensure high quality customer service and strong store presentation.
• Work primarily nights and weekends; average 40 hours/week.
