Job summary

Price Rite of Pawtucket is seeking a Closing Supervisor to oversee store operations and staff on shift. You will deliver high-quality customer service and ensure the sales floor and back room readiness for the business day.

The role requires leadership experience, strong communication, and adherence to safety standards. The position is full-time with night/weekend hours and opportunities for growth within Price Rite.

Qualifications

• One plus years related management experience.
• Associate degree preferred or equivalent of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before customers or team members of the organization.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Holds an active Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Carries out supervisory responsibilities for up to 20 team members in the store in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
• Maintains great store conditions per company standard; to include compliance with company and governmental sanitation and safety standards.
• Awareness of shrink standards and objectives.
• Ensures the delivery of great customer service.
• Open/Close Cash Office including reconciliations, verifications and deposit drops.
• Performs CGO functions of receiving, inventory, damages, signs and tags.
• Work primarily nights and weekends, days as needed. Full Time position – working an average of 40 hours per week with overtime as needed.
