Job summary

Price Rite SEEKONK is seeking a Closing Supervisor to oversee store operations on shift and deliver high-quality customer service. You will supervise up to 20 team members, manage opening/closing activities, cash handling, and ensure the floor and back room stay clean, stocked, and compliant with policies.

We seek candidates with at least 1 year of related management experience, strong reading and writing skills, and a current Food Safety Certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years related management experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before customers or team members of the organization.
• Holds an active Food Safety Certification.
• Regularly stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and lift/move objects as required.

Responsibilities

• Carries out supervisory responsibilities for up to 20 team members in the store in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
• Maintains great store conditions per company standard; to include compliance with company and governmental sanitation and safety standards.
• Open/Close Cash Office including reconciliations, verifications and deposit drops
• Performs CGO functions of receiving, inventory, damages, signs and tags. Completes Sign Audit Store Walk and take corrective action to replace needed signs/tags.
• Rotates and Stocks items to shelves, coolers, display cases, bunkers and freezers.
• Work primarily nights and weekends, days as needed. Full Time position – working an average of 40 hours per week with overtime as needed.
