Price Rite in Torrington, CT is seeking a Closing Supervisor to oversee all store operations on shift and lead up to 20 team members. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and proper cash handling.

Minimum qualifications include 1+ year of related management experience, reading/comprehension of safety docs, and a valid Food Safety Certification. The position is full-time with a typical 40-hour weekly schedule, nights/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related management experience in retail or grocery.
• Ability to read and interpret safety, operating, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Ability to work with percentages and basic calculations.
• Active Food Safety Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations and personnel on shift for up to 20 team members.
• Maintain store conditions, sanitation, safety standards, and signage.
• Open/close the store including cash handling and deposits.
• Perform CGO functions: receiving, inventory, damages, signs and tags.
• Ensure timely deliveries and back room readiness for the business day.
• Enforce company policies and state/federal regulations.
• Work nights and weekends; full-time average 40 hours weekly.
