Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Ridgeway, SC is seeking a forklift operator who will operate forklifts as directed while following all safety policies to produce a superior product. You will position forks, load pallets, and transport materials to designated areas.

Responsibilities include unloading and stacking materials, inventorying yard materials, and keeping yards clean and safe. The role requires at least 2 years of forklift experience and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in operating a forklift to load and unload materials in a manufacturing/retail distribution environment
• Excellent customer service skills are required

Responsibilities

• Position forks, lifting platform or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials
• Transport materials to designated area
• Unload and stack materials
• Inventory materials on yard
• Maintain yard and work area in a clean and safe manner
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision in ensuring customers are loaded as scheduled without undue delay
