Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a forklift operator to support our manufacturing and distribution operations. You will operate forklifts, position loads, transport materials, unload and stack pallets, and maintain a safe yard environment to ensure on-time loading for customers.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of forklift experience and strong customer service skills, with a safety-first mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing/retail distribution environment.
• Excellent customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Position forks, lifting platform or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials
• Transport materials to designated area
• Unload and stack materials
• Inventory materials on yard
• Maintain yard and work area in a clean and safe manner
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision in ensuring customers are loaded as scheduled without undue delay
