Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, Night Shift Forklift Operator (Construction) is responsible for operating forklifts according to safety policies to ensure efficient, safe loading and material handling at construction sites or warehouses.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years of forklift experience in a manufacturing/retail distribution environment and excellent customer service skills. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing/retail distribution environment.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Position forks, lifting platform or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials.
• Transport materials to designated area.
• Unload and stack materials.
• Inventory materials on yard.
• Maintain yard and work area in a clean and safe manner.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision to ensure customers are loaded as scheduled without undue delay.
