Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move materials within our yard and production areas. You will operate forklifts as directed, load/unload pallets, and ensure timely material handling to support customers and production schedules.

Required: minimum 2 years of forklift experience in a manufacturing/retail environment and strong customer service skills. This is a full-time site-based role with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing/retail distribution environment.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Position forks, lifting platform or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials
• Transport materials to designated area
• Unload and stacks materials
• Inventory materials on yard
• Maintain yard and work area in a clean and safe manner
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision in ensuring customers are loaded as scheduled without undue delay
