Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking a forklift operator at our Asheville, NC distribution site. You will operate forklifts safely to load and unload materials, position pallets, and transport goods to designated areas, contributing to on-time loading for customers.

Two years of forklift experience and excellent customer service are required. This full-time, on-site role offers competitive pay and benefits, with opportunities for growth within a large, international company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years forklift experience in loading/unloading materials.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Position forks, lifting platform or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials
• Transport materials to designated area
• Unload and stacks materials
• Inventory materials on yard
• Maintain yard and work area in a clean and safe manner
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision in ensuring customers are loaded as scheduled without undue delay
