Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator, Non Formula, to support our distribution process. You will operate forklift and pallet jack in multi-temperature environments, ensuring safety and accuracy from receiving to stocking.

Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 5:00pm–2:30am. Pay: $25.38/hr with benefits starting Day 1, uniforms provided, and boot voucher. This role is essential to maintaining a smooth flow of product across our warehouse network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift, stack, and/or pull products from shelves weighing 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks, sets pallets in place with forklift or hand stack items, enters product data and location.
• Locates and performs count check of incoming freight in the staging area and transports to freezer with forklift/pallet jack.
• Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock items according to next day’s work orders.
• Rotates date-sensitive stock to the front of the rack and/or removes outdated inventory according to company policy.
• Disperses over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
• Removes empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping to the proper area.
