Morgan Foods, Inc. in Austin, IN, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a full-time 3rd shift (10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.). The role supports production, food safety, and sanitation to maintain high quality standards.

Occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required to meet business needs. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred college-level QA knowledge and SAP/ERP experience.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred in quality assurance, food technology, or related field.
• Basic lab, science, food safety, or quality assurance knowledge preferred.
• Manufacturing experience in food manufacturing strongly preferred.
• SAP experience or ERP system experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Follow safety procedures and support a safety-first work environment.
• Perform analytical and product attribute testing; document results.
• Conduct SSOP and GMP pre-operational inspections for sanitation and food safety.
• Inspect ingredient storage areas for quality and sanitation compliance.
• Verify incoming ingredients meet specifications and record results.
• Collect product samples for incubation testing and maintain records.
• Inspect label operations for accuracy and identification.
• Identify and document non-conforming ingredients and products.
• Maintain quality documentation, logs, and records.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, R&D, and USDA inspectors to ensure quality and regulatory standards.
