Shearer's Foods is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for the night shift. The role focuses on analytical, microbiological and sensory testing to ensure product quality and compliance with SQF, GMPs and labeling requirements. You will support audits and review results with production teams.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years in QA within food manufacturing, strong attention to safety, and solid math and computer skills. Evening shifts may include weekends and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in Quality Assurance in a food and beverage manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attendance and reliability for a skilled QA role.
• Safety mindset and commitment to a safe workplace.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate with team members.
• Basic math skills and ability to convert measurements and use run-rate formulas.
• Lead by example: honesty, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to policies.

• Good time management and ability to follow standard work instructions.
• Willingness to work pre-shift meetings and overtime including weekends/holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical, microbiological, sensory tests and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Calibrate and verify equipment, monitor facility operations for SQF, GMPs and labeling compliance.
• Prepare for audits, document results, and communicate quality findings to production teams.
• Assist in training and maintaining quality records in the database.
