Job summary

Adventist HealthCare's Shady Grove Medical Center seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant for Float Pool II. The CNA will perform vital signs and daily living tasks under RN supervision, follow care plans, and contribute to a culture of safety.

Requirements include a Maryland CNA license, BLS, 1 year hospital experience, strong computer skills, and English proficiency. Schedule is nights, 36 hours per week, with a flat rate of $26/hr and non-exempt status.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Active Maryland CNA license is required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association is required.
• One year of hospital experience and strong computer skills preferred.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Follow the care plan established by the Registered Nurse.
• Participate in education programs, team meetings, and professional initiatives.
• Maintain safety, report equipment issues, and support clean work areas.
