Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a Coating Operator to work on a coating line at one of our Ohio facilities. The role involves leading machine set ups, changeovers, and coordinating maintenance while ensuring production goals are met.

You will monitor quality, log production data, and follow safety procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position offers an hourly rate of $25.09 plus a $2.00 shift differential, with a rotating 5:50PM–6AM schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Safety conscious with strong quality focus.
• Able to work as part of a team and adapt to rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Load raw material into the machine and unload the finished product.
• Determine and control the machine cycle varying and modifying as necessary.
• Perform tests and check products routinely for multiple characteristics using standard measuring devices.
• Meet production schedules and program production sequences for optimal productivity.
• Follow standard operating procedures and specifications to ensure adherence to production specifications.
• Report malfunctions or abnormalities and make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.
• Maintain production records and logs of equipment and product performance.
• Adjust set up and process operations accordingly.
• Follow health, safety, and housekeeping procedures and practice safe work habits.
• Attend required training and understand quality standards relevant to the role.
