Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Finishing Operator in Painesville, Ohio on C Shift 11:20PM-7:30AM, Sun-Thurs. You will sort, label, package finished goods, inspect product quality, prepare cores, and maintain a clean, safe work area while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED or 3+ years in manufacturing, ability to follow instructions, and willingness to work overtime; familiarity with MFG Pro and forklift license is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Strong safety focus and willingness to work overtime.
• Proficiency with computer applications, especially MFG Pro.

Responsibilities

• Sort, label, and package finished goods per customer specifications.
• Inspect appearance of finished product.
• Prepare cores for machine operators.
• Coordinate information to shift/department personnel.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Perform 5S duties and audits.
• Assist in equipment maintenance as directed.
• Participate in group problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Track multiple orders being packed at one time.
• Perform duties to improve quality and productivity.
