Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 3rd shift (11pm start) at a commercial office facility in Ohio. The role encompasses inspection, calibration, troubleshooting, repair, and routine maintenance of HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire and life-safety systems, plus carpentry, plumbing, painting and snow removal to maintain building infrastructure.

Candidates should have 2–5 years in commercial maintenance, strong mechanical aptitude, basic CMMS usage, and good teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of related maintenance experience in a commercial facility.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems.
• Basic CMMS usage and comfort documenting tasks and history.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance procedures and safety standards.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and repair HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire and life-safety systems, boilers, refrigeration, motors, pumps and related controls.
• Perform carpentry, plumbing, painting, landscaping and snow removal as needed to maintain infrastructure.
• Attend and participate in safety training per policy.
• Document tasks in CMMS and maintain equipment histories including parts and hours.
• Complete and input data for all work orders (corrective and PM) in a timely manner.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and coordinate with other vendors as required.
• Available for ON CALL duty nights, weekends and holidays; flexible hours may be required.
