Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification is a plus.
• HVAC certification a plus; Boiler/Steam operator licenses a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry and painting maintenance.
• Service HVAC equipment through preventative maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors and electrical/plumbing systems.
• Inform supervisor of supply and equipment needs.
• Complete work orders within 24-48 hours.
• Maintain readiness for regulatory surveys.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.
• Coordinate maintenance with Nursing, Culinary and Nutritional Services as needed.
• Serve as back-up to security and perform necessary rounds.
