Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Night Shift ER Technician to provide technical assistance and supportive patient care across assigned areas at our Rigsby facility in Texas.

You will collect vital signs, assist with patient activities, and help maintain a safe, clean environment in line with COLA/CLIA guidelines. Ideal candidates hold a BLS certification, EMT credentials, and prior ER or hospital experience, with fluency in English and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC is required.
• ACLS/ALS and PALS certifications are required or strongly preferred depending on market.
• English fluency, both written and spoken, is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data including vital signs and specimens.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policies and regulations.
• Assist with patient activities and care as directed by the charge nurse.
• Provide superficial wound care and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain patient privacy and a clean, safe environment and apply aseptic technique.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Prepare patients and chaperone during examinations; travel to facility locations as needed.

EMT-P/EMT-AEMT/LP program with 1 year experience

EMT-B with 1+ ER experience (ER Technician) [Oklahoma, North TX, Wisconsin & Pennsylvania markets]

Nursing school year 1 with 1 year of experience (in progress)

3+ years ER technician or CNA experience (market-specific)

3+ years as CNA with hospital experience (Wisconsin market)

3+ years as Certified Anesthesia Tech/OR Tech (Wisconsin market)
