Job summary

Emerus is seeking a dedicated ER support professional for the Westover Hills facility. The role covers patient care, data collection, and safe patient handling during the night shift (7pm-7am). Expect to assist with exams, sample collection, wound care, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and one of several eligible programs or experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS/ALS certifications preferred in most markets.
• PALS certification strongly preferred.
• Experience with IV starts, phlebotomy, and EKG.
• Must be fluent in English; written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data; take vital signs.
• Collect lab samples and perform tests per COLA/CLIA.
• Assist with patient activities and care per plan of care.
• Provide superficial wound care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection control measures.
• Assist with admission, transfer, discharge.
• Prepare patients and chaperone during exams/procedures.
• Maintain patient care areas with supplies.
• Assist with restraints and document emergencies.
• Travel to all facility locations as required.
• Attend staff meetings and other duties.
