Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Technician/ER Assistant for a 16-bed small-format hospital. The role provides technical assistance and patient care across assigned areas, with a night schedule from 7pm to 7am.

Candidate must have recent ED/ ER experience (minimum 2 years) and active BLS certification. ACLS/ALS preferred. Travel to locations may be required; duties include vital signs, specimen collection, and patient safety responsibilities.

Competenze

• Requires recent ED experience in a hospital.
• Minimum 2 years in the ED; no cross training to ED Tech.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/ALS strongly preferred in most markets; Wisconsin note for EMT-P.
• PALS preferred; IV start and phlebotomy experience desirable.

Mansioni

• Collect, report, and document clinical data including vitals and specimens.
• Perform lab testing per policies and regulations (COLA/CLIA).
• Assist with patient activities and care as directed by charge nurse.
• Provide superficial wound care and maintain patient safety and privacy.
• Ensure aseptic technique, infection control, and proper isolation.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
