Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, spell, write clearly, and type accurately.
• Experience in customer service in a medical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and timely for ER, outpatients, inpatients, clinic and observation.
• Obtain pre-certification information from doctors or insurers per requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service and facilitate a smooth registration process.
• Scan documents to patient accounts under correct form name.
• Announce and assist with triage by contacting ER staff when patients arrive.
