Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department's Rapid Response Team for night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am.

The RN will provide direct care, coordinate with physicians, mentor other staff, and ensure EMTALA compliance while maintaining patient privacy and safety. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available and a comprehensive benefits package accompanies the role.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ALS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• PALS certificate and/or ENPC 60 days upon hire and maintain current.
• CEN certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department and guide patient/family teaching.
• Direct and supervise nursing personnel while maintaining professional standards and patient privacy.
