Job summary

Prime Healthcare seeks a skilled Registered Nurse for Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL, to join the Rapid Response Team on the night shift (7:00pm–7:30am, 12-hour). The RN will deliver safe patient care within Telemetry and the Emergency Department, using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

The role requires a current state RN license and certifications (BLS, ALS; PALS/ENPC preferred; TNCC).

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ALS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC within 60 days upon hire and maintain current.
• CEN preferred.
• BN in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry and ED.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing staff.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and test results; respond quickly to changes.
