Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Unit in Chicago, IL, to provide safe, high-quality patient care on a night shift with rotating weekends. This full-time role involves telemetry, collaboration with physicians, and adherence to EMTALA and privacy standards.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using the nursing process, guide patient and family teaching, and mentor other nurses.

Qualifications

• Active, current RN license in the state.
• BLS required; ALS and PALS/ENPC certifications within designated timeframes.
• CEN certification is preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry.
• Direct patient/family teaching and guide other nursing staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians with test results and symptoms.
• Maintain patient privacy and comply with EMTALA and regulatory requirements.
