Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ALS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 60 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse delivers safe patient care in Telemetry using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicates with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition and results of diagnostic studies.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality and adheres to EMTALA regulations.
