Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an Emergency Care Technician to provide basic patient care under the supervision of an RN and to monitor patients continuously.

Responsibilities include keeping patient areas clean and stocked, reporting changes, assisting with ADLs, and performing delegated procedures like vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy, IV care, and transportation in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Accredited program required.
• BLS American Heart Association card required.
• CNA/EMT/LPN licenses required or in progress.

Responsabilités

• Assists with keeping patient rooms/areas stocked, clean and orderly.
• Reports abnormal assessment findings or changes to nursing staff.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, and eating.
• Performs basic patient care activities delegated by an RN, including vitals, EKG, phlebotomy, glucose testing, splinting and wound care.
• Documents and communicates procedures to nursing/medical staff.
