GlobalFoundries inc. seeks a Senior CVD Equipment Technician for the Essex Junction Fab 9, 200mm facility. You will monitor, sustain and improve equipment, partnering with production and engineers to ensure readiness and performance in a high-pace environment.

The role requires electrical/mechanical experience, cleanroom habits, and ability to lift heavy items, with a night-shift schedule and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree (or equivalent).
• Experience: 2-year technical degree and 4 years of relevant experience or 4+ years in related fields.
• English (written & verbal) proficient with basic reading/writing.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and lift 50+ pounds as needed.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and test readiness for manufacturing.
• Document events and communicate pass downs end of shift.
• Follow detailed instructions and operate safely per policies.
• Use basic hand tools and electronics knowledge to troubleshoot.
