Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Nurse Aide for full-time night shifts (1900–0730), 36 hours/week, in the Emergency Department. The role involves phlebotomy, patient transport, vital signs monitoring, wound care, and documentation in the EHR.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy and patient transport experience.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Strong communication with physicians, staff and patients.
• Ability to manage time and priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and RNs in patient care including phlebotomy, transport and monitor placement.
• Document procedures and communicate observations to the RN.
• Process charges and related procedures in the EHR.
• Coordinate communications (phone, paging, electronic, EMS).
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and handle equipment troubleshooting.
