Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department (Adult) on a part-time, night shift schedule (20 hours per pay period). This 45-bed unit provides emergency care in a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Nurses collaborate across care teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care. Requirements include completion of an accredited nursing program, current IL RN license, BLS, ACLS; PALS within 3 months, and at least 1 year of ED nursing

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required; ACLS; PALS within 3 months of start.
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Deliver evidence-based, safe care and maintain patient safety and comfort.
