Job summary

Endeavor Health's Highland Park Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the Emergency Department night shift. This full-time role (36 hours/ week) runs 7pm–7:30am with rotating weekends. Eligible to work in the US; CNA training and at least one nursing clinical rotation are preferred.

Current BLS certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Strong teamwork, communication, and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited CNA training course preferred.
• Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred.
• Current BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider (American Heart Association) required or to be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care tasks during the night shift.
• Assess patients and read/record charts.
• Maintain safety and PPE use, including N95/PAPR as required.
• Handle transfers with equipment for non-emergency moves.
• Stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed during the shift.
