Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in health care, business, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in health care or closely related field is preferred.
• Four years in hospital patient access with billing system experience.
• Supervisory or lead experience in a health care setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily ED Patient Access operations, staffing, and productivity.
• Reconciles cash and accounts for discrepancies; assists patients with coverage and financing.
• Compiles department statistics, QA audits, and KPI reporting; ensures accurate documentation.
• Reviews data before government submissions and maintains coverage for patient flow.
• Plans staff schedules and conducts performance evaluations and development.
