Responsibilities

• Fills in for staff and performs all functions of Patient Access Representative as needed.
• Understands front end registration modules and coordinates with IT to ensure accurate use.
• Trains staff on registration, insurance verification, treatment authorization, and job expectations.
• Provides input on staff performance to supervisor for annual reviews and corrective actions.
• Resolves problems with internal and external clients and coordinates with managers as necessary.
• Maintains positive relationships with patients, guarantors, insurers, and clinical teams to support teamwork.
• Leads and supports quality and productivity management processes.
• Keeps knowledge of payers for accurate billing and compliance with laws.
