The position supports nurses transitioning to ED or early-career ED nurses seeking growth, with 36 hours weekly night shifts (7p-7a) and classroom education during day shifts.

Qualifications

• Current IL nursing license required.
• ADN or higher; BSN must be completed within five years.
• CPR/BLS required; ACLS, PALS, NIHSS within three months.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care per Illinois Nurse Practice Act.
• Assess patients, monitor changes, and prioritize care.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Document assessments and interventions accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to coordinate care.
• Delegate tasks while maintaining patient safety.
