Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Transition to Practice program in the Emergency Department at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. This role supports experienced nurses and early-career ED nurses to build confidence and expand emergency nursing skills.

The position offers night shifts (7p-7a), 36 hours per week, with classroom education during day shifts. Responsibilities include providing evidence-based nursing care, prioritizing changes in condition, and collaborating with

Qualifications

Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
Education: ADN or BSN; BSN preferred within five years if ADN held.
CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, NIHSS to be obtained within 3 months of start date.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate nursing care in line with Illinois Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Use clinical judgment to assess patients and prioritize care.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions and observations.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
