Job summary

Endeavor Health’s Transition to Practice Program in the Emergency Department seeks a Registered Nurse for the Night shift in Elmhurst, IL. This program supports new ED nurses with education, clinical guidance, and structured learning to build confidence and skills.

You will provide compassionate, evidence-based care, assess patients, and collaborate with the medical team to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license is required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN within five years if ADN held).
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS NIHSS to be completed within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care in ED.
• Assess patients, identify changes, prioritize care.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Document assessments and interventions accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
• Delegate tasks while ensuring patient safety and outcomes.
