Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department night shift at Elmhurst Main Hospital. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with nights 7:00pm–7:00am, rotating weekends and holidays.

Candidates need an ADN or higher, 1+ year ED experience, IL RN licensure, CPR, ACLS/PALS/NIHSS within required timeframes. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible full-time hires.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of ED experience required.
• Active Illinois RN license and CPR certification.
• ACLS, PALS, NIHSS to be completed within specified probation periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per state Act and hospital policies.
• Assess patient condition, monitor changes, and document observations.
• Collaborate with the care team to plan and deliver care.
