Wellstar Health System is seeking an experienced ED nurse leader for night shift to manage operations, staffing, and patient flow in a high-demand Emergency Department. You will ensure adherence to standards of care, policies, and regulatory requirements while maintaining patient safety and satisfaction.

You will supervise staff performance, coordinate with physicians and ancillary teams, and drive throughput metrics through data-informed decision making.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Analytical skills and leadership experience to guide ED operations.
• Experience coordinating clinical staff and patient flow in a high-acuity setting.

Responsabilités

• Constant rounding in the ED to oversee patient flow and liaison with ED providers and departments.
• Organize work environment and coordinate patient flow into and out of the department.
• Supervise patient placement and lead prioritization and communication among care teams.
• Focus on patient throughput and experience, monitor ED tracking boards.
• Provide feedback on throughput performance to ED team and leadership.
