Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network in Illinois is hiring for a Night Shift role coordinating donor referrals and logistics, with 7 PM to 7 AM hours and alternating weekends. This position requires strong communication, confidentiality, and the ability to work under pressure to support organ and tissue donation.

Responsibilities include gathering pre-screening information, evaluating referrals for donor eligibility, updating stakeholders, and coordinating logistics with hospitals and eye

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to make sound clinical assessments under pressure.
• Excellent customer service when dealing with partners.

Responsibilities

• Advance Gift of Hope's mission and core values while adhering to policies.
• Acquire and manage confidential records and protect information.
• Collect pre-screening information on donor-related calls.
• Evaluate referrals for donor eligibility and coordinate with eye banks.
• Update stakeholders on status of referrals in a timely manner.
• Coordinate logistics and document information in systems.
• Communicate referral information with supervisors or partners.
• Follow up with hospital staff on pending referrals.
• Adhere to competency evaluations and assigned duties.
