Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current CPR and First Aid Training (EMT Licensure may substitute for First Aid).
• Typing 45 WPM minimum, detail-oriented, and DPSST certified.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; pass background checks and drug screening.

Aufgaben

• Receive calls and determine nature of the call to dispatch appropriate service.
• Enter information at a workstation while listening to the customer.
• Deploy resources to meet emergency and non-emergency needs.
• Maintain accurate records of customer contacts and communications.
• Identify problems and opportunities for service improvements.
• Maintain knowledge of dispatch procedures and PSAP protocols.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain required certifications.
