Job summary

MedCare Ambulance seeks an Operations Supervisor (Paramedic) for District 20 (Marion, Mansfield) on the night shift. You will lead front-line staff, coordinate district operations, and apply clinical practice on every shift while upholding our values.

Requirements include Ohio Paramedic certification (preferred), 3+ years clinical pre-hospital experience, 2+ years leadership, plus strong communication and independent work capabilities.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio Paramedic certification preferred; maintain required certifications as needed.
• Minimum of three years clinical practice in pre-hospital setting preferred.
• Minimum of two years of leadership experience preferred.
• Current, valid driver’s license; acceptable driving record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and independent judgment.
• Demonstrates excellence in leadership ability.
• Knowledge of referring and receiving agencies within assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the district's operations and staff on assigned shifts.
• Supervise front-line personnel and ensure clinical performance on shift.
• Coordinate programs, systems, and services to support operations.
• Transmit organizational values, coach and mentor staff, and manage resources.
