High School Diploma is required.
A valid driver's license is required.
Experience with individuals with mental health diagnoses or developmental disabilities may be beneficial.
Sleepover at residential settings may be required.

Responsibilities

Assess individuals for hopes and goals and provide supports to help achieve them.
Help individuals build relationships in their communities and with natural supports.
Assist individuals in participating fully in community activities aligned with their interests.
Protect and promote the rights of individuals receiving services and support advocacy.
Provide emotional, physical, and medical support as needed.
Document progress, goals, actions, incidents, and timesheets accurately.
Assist with day-to-day home operations like housekeeping and meals.
Arrange transport to appointments as required.
Support safety and emergency procedures and drills.
Train new staff and assist with orientation and mentoring.
