Job summary

Sysco Virginia, LLC is seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to keep our vehicle fleet reliable.

Responsibilities include inspections, annual FAI/CVI inspections, and repairs to engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and hydraulics in accordance with safety and manufacturer specs. Ability to operate diagnostic tools and Sysco software is required.

Qualifications

• 2-year school and 1 year of experience or 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• ASE certifications; Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty Trucks preferred but not required.
• 609 HVAC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize safety and reliability.
• Carry out annual FAI/CVI inspections on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Perform vehicle repairs per manufacturer specs including engines, transmissions and electrical systems.
• Document work on work orders and learn Sysco computer programs.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs across vehicle systems.
