Sysco Central Illinois, Inc. seeks a skilled fleet maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance and expert diagnostics to minimize downtime and maximize fleet reliability.

The role covers inspections on tractors, trailers, and related equipment, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance. You will diagnose engine, transmission, electrical, and hydraulic systems, document work in orders, and grow within a stable, industry-leading company.

Qualifications

• 2-year school + 1 year experience or 3 years in fleet maintenance/repair
• Current and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment within planned time tolerances.
• Conduct Annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on tractors, trailers, and related equipment per regulatory requirements.
• Perform quality maintenance and repairs to maximize safety and reliability of fleet.
• Address Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write-ups promptly and accurately.
• Document all work on work orders and learn Sysco computer programs.
